Abstract:
Die Matrix-Metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) wird häufig in Tumoren überexprimiert und fördert die Tumorprogression. An THP-1 Zellen konnte gezeigt werden, dass deren basale MMP-9-Expression auf einer autokrinen Stimulation mit freiem löslichem TNF-alpha und der Aktivierung von TNF-Rezeptor 1 beruht. Diese MMP-9 mRNA-Expression und Proteinsynthese konnte durch Inhibition der ERK1/2-Signaltransduktion blockiert werden. The Matrix-Metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) is often found overexpressed in tumors and favours tumorprogression. It could be shown for THP-1 cells that basal MMP-9 expression depends on autocrine stimulation with soluble TNF-alpha and activation of TNF-receptor 1. These MMP-9 mRNA expression and proteinsynthesis was blocked by inhibiting the ERK1/2 signaltransduction.
