Abstract:
Sporthallen sind die in Deutschland am häufigsten vorkommende Sportstätte und stehen im Fokus der Arbeit. Zum einen wird eine Clusterung von Sporthallen nach Baualtersklassen entwickelt, die den Sporthallenbestand in Deutschland beschreibt. Basis hierfür sind Eigenschaften von Sporthallen in Abhängigkeit des Baualters, insbesondere energetische. Zum anderen zielt die Arbeit darauf ab, das Sanierungspotenzial von Sporthallen verschiedener Baualtersklassen aufzuzeigen.

Sports halls represent the most common type of sports venue in Germany and are the focus of this study. First, a classification of sports halls by defined construction age classes is developed to describe the sports hall stock in Germany. The basis for this classification is the characteristics of sports halls, particularly energy-related aspects, depending on the year of construction. Second, the study explores the renovation potential of sports halls from different construction age classes.
