Abstract:
Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) is a predominant imaging modality in interventional cardiology. It provides real-time crosssectional images of arteries and assists clinicians to infer about atherosclerotic plaques composition. These plaques are heterogeneous in nature and constitute fibrous tissue, lipid deposits and calcifications.
