Abstract:
Spatial data is pervasive. This thesis makes three contributions to the design and implementation of systems that handle spatial data. First, we study the big-data spatial analytics systems that have emerged in recent years. Second, we carry out a study of the state-of-the-art spatial libraries. Third, we propose an approach to apply learned indexes to five classical spatial indexes in order to improve spatial query processing on location-data.

Geodaten sind allgegenwärtig. Diese Arbeit leistet drei Beiträge zum Entwurf und zur Implementierung von Geodaten Systemen. Zunächst untersuchen wir Big Data Analysesysteme für Geodaten. In einem zweiten Schritt führen wir eine Studie über die neuesten bibliotheken für Geodaten durch. Drittens, schlagen wir einen Ansatz vor, um gelernte Indizes auf fünf klassische räumliche Indizes anzuwenden, um die räumliche Abfrageverarbeitung für Standortdaten zu verbessern.
