One of sources of noise pollution is road traffic and noise of vehicles passing over traffic calming devices (TCD). Therefore, it was conducted a noise study of major associated noise energy levels for passenger cars before, during and after the pass of the vehicle on different types of TCD, speed associated. Traffic calming devices analyzed in this study were a speed hump, a speed table, a prefabricated speed bump and a speed kidney. The results show, in the case of speed hump, noise behavior is very elastic because manifest similar noise values for different ranges of speed reduction as opposed to the speed table. The noise levels for prefabricated speed bump may increase due to hit the tires with the TCD and the speed kidney does not produce noise spikes or impulse noise which generates more discomfort and more noticeable noise levels.     «
