- Eine stetige Herausforderung ist es, Bus- und Betriebssysteme sowie Applikationen im Automobil intelligent miteinander zu verknüpfen. Mit der Umstellung des Kommunikationsprotokolls auf IP und der Verbindung zwischen der Diagnoseschnittestelle zum Fahrzeuggateway auf Ethernet wird die Basis für eine cloudbasierte Diagnose geschaffen. Weiterhin steht für diese Arbeit die Absicherung der IP-basierten Diagnose im Vordergrund.

- Today one of the main challenges is to connect bus systems, operating systems and applications in the vehicle intelligently. Therefore an optimized and reliable diagnostic is needed. The diagnostic communication protocol and the connection between the diagnostic interface to a vehicle´s Gateway will be changed. In the future, a cloud-based diagnosis couldl be offered. Another important parameter for this approach, and yet another focus of this thesis, is a safety and security analysis it.
