Abstract:
Since the seminal work of Black and Scholes [1973] and Merton [1973], their option pricing formula has in spite of some well-documented systematic pricing biases been used in trading rooms throughout the world. The heteroscedasticity of asset returns in particular has developed into an important area of research.
