This thesis presents sampling methods for the sample generation of bathymatry in application with tsunami simulation. The method samples a deviation with dependent variance over a coarser grid, i.e every nth data point, of the measured bathymatry and adds the deviation, where the missing points are interpolated, on the original bathymatry. We use available data of the Tohoku tsunami in 2011 to compare the Monte Carlo estimate of this method with different parameters to the estimate computed without a uncertainty.
