The thesis deals with surface disinfection of brewing equipment using electrolytically generated ozone. This environmentally friendly disinfectant is directly produced from water via boron-doped diamond electrodes, dissolved in it and
brought into eg brewery tanks by special cleaning fittings. The research goal was to design an overall CIP disinfection station, which purports to be a substitute for the currently used standard dose of persistent chemicals. Additionally to the investigation of the process basics of a CIP disinfection station based on the used ozone technology, recommendations for a long-term stable operation of electrodes were given.
