abstract = {This dataset contains the results of an experimental assessment of thermal conductivity as well as density and compressive strength of the same material. The material composition is currently under development within the DFG-funded TRR277 at TU Braunschweig. The group A01 at the Institute of Building Materials, Concrete Construction and Fire Safety is developing the tested material for large-scale applications of the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Selective Cement Activation (SCA) process. The material mixture comprises a dry particle bed with Portland cement, fine aggregates (quartz sand with a maximum diameter of 0.5 mm), and methyl cellulose granules selectively activated with liquid, in a volumetric mixture of sand/cement = 60/40 with the MC dosage being 1 wt.% of the total mixtures weight. The experimental thermal conductivity of the tested material without water treatment accounts for 1.319 W/mK, and the specimen with water treatment is 1.414 W/mK. The respective densities and compressive strength values are 1.70 g/cm³ and 19.37 MPa for the specimens without water curing and 1.78 g/cm³ and 24.40 MPa for specimens with water curing.},
