- Abstract:
- We investigated the clinical significance of CXCL11 mRNA and protein expression in HGSOC and TNBC. We found that mRNA expression is an independent favorable predictor of overall survival. However, the prognostic value lost significance at the protein level in HGSOC. Overall, the association of increased CXCL11 expression in tumor tissue with a favorable prognosis was shown both for HGSOC and TNBC patients.

- Wir haben die klinische Bedeutung der mRNA- und Proteinexpression von CXCL11 bei HGSOC und TNBC untersucht. Wir fanden heraus, dass die mRNA-Expression ein unabhängiger, günstiger Prädiktor für das Gesamtüberleben ist. Allerdings verlor der prognostische Wert auf Proteinebene bei HGSOC an Bedeutung. Insgesamt konnte eine Assoziation einer erhöhten CXCL11-Expression im Tumorgewebe mit einer günstigen Prognose für Patienten sowohl mit TNBC als auch HGSOC gezeigt werden.
