Ten postlingually deafened probands supplied by Cochlea Implant (CI) and hearing aid (HA) were interviewed about musical hearing by the Munich Music Questionnaire (MUMU). The objective intraindividual benefit of CI plus HA vs. CI only was low. Subjectively, an advantage of CI plus HA outweighed. Six probands were objectively tested about their musical capture. The Mu.S.I.C study generated the following results for CI plus HA: the rhythm discrimination was at 95%, the frequency differentiation was at 30 %. Within the melodical discrimination phase, 33% were recognized. The chords and instrumental discrimination succeeded with 80%. Both the dissonance and consonance evaluation as well as the emotional discrimination, within a scaling from sad to happy, all in all reached a balanced perception.
