- Abstract:
- Diese retrospektive Forschungsarbeit soll die ästhetischen Ergebnisse einer implantierten künstlichen Iris aus medizinischen Gründen anhand von speziellen Fragebögen sowohl beim Patientenkollektiv wie auch bei Drittpersonen eruieren und durch eine computergestützte Fotoanalyse ergänzen. Dabei gilt es, die Kriterien für ein optimales postoperatives, ästhetisches Ergebnis bezüglich der Farbtreue und Pupillenzentrierung der individuell angefertigten Silikonirisprothesen zu definieren.

- This retrospective research work will determine the subjective aesthetic results of an implanted artificial iris for medical reasons by means of special questionnaires, both in the patient collective and in third persons, and supplement these results with computer-assisted photo analysis. The aim is to define the criteria for an optimal postoperative aesthetic result with regard to color fidelity and pupil centration of the individually fabricated silicone iris prostheses.
