Abstract:
Pear decline (PD) is a quarantine disease causing reduced yield, stunting and dieback of pears in all pear-growing countries. The objective of this work was the development of a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) procedure for the detection of Candidatus Phytoplasma pyri, the causal agent of PD.
