- Abstract:
- This dissertation examines determinants of investment behavior and financial performance of institutional venture capital (VC) investors at the manager and fund levels. In the first and second essay, I investigate to which extent personality traits of VC managers impact investment success and investment behavior in the context of syndication. In the third essay on investment strategies, I analyze the impact of portfolio diversification on VC funds’ financial returns.
