Abstract:
A new generation of non-magnetic and all-optical cesium magnetometers for the panEDM experiment is presented. In a stabilized field environment, a drift of less than 30 fT within 250 s was demonstrated. Stabilities of 50 fT at integration times of 70-600s were achieved and reproduced with different sensors and on different days. New limits for systematic sensor offsets are set, a light-shift effect is discovered, and the operation of a multi-sensor array is characterized.
