- Diese Studie inkludierte Ösphaguskarzinompatienten, welche im Klinikum Rechts der Isar im Zeitraum von 1988-2011 kurativ intendiert behandelt wurden. Mittels Fragebogen wurde die Progredienzangst, Angst und Lebensqualität , mittels EORTC QLQ-C30 und EORTC QLQ-OES 18 gemessen. Es konnten keine signifikanten Unterschiede zwischen den Studienkohorten von insgesamt 57 Teilnehmer mit alleiniger Radiochemotherapie (22) und zusätzlicher Operation (35) beobachtet werden.

- This study included esophageal carcinoma patients who were treated with curative intent in the Klinikum rechts der Isar between 1988 and 2011. Using questionnaire, the fear of progression, anxiety and quality of life were measured with EORTC QLQ-C30 and EORTC QLQ-OES 18. There were no significant differences between the study cohort of 57 participants with sole chemoradiotherapy (22) or additional surgery (35).
