Abstract:
Drawing upon Science and Technology Studies and Gender and Entrepreneurship literature, this dissertation explores the mutual shaping of gender and entrepreneurship in co-living spaces through an ethnographic study in the Bay Area and Munich. In conclusion, despite providing an alternative to traditional lifestyles, the dissertation frames co-living spaces as temporary living arrangements that do not ultimately destabilize existing gender dynamics.

Basierend auf der Perspektive der Science and Technology Studies sowie der Gender- und Entrepreneurship-Literatur untersucht diese Dissertation die wechselseitige Formung von Gender und Entrepreneurship in Co-Living Spaces in der Bay Area und in München. Ein Hauptargument dieser Dissertation ist, dass Co-Living Spaces eine Alternative zu traditionellen Lebensstilen darstellen, jedoch als temporäre Wohnformen bestehende Genderdynamiken langfristig nicht destabilisieren.
