Abstract:
Translated abstract:
The work examines the competitive conditions in ad tech markets for display advertising. In particular, Google's self-preferencing practices are analysed with regard to an abuse of market power. For this purpose, the systematics of antitrust law based on the decision-making practice of the competition authorities and the draft guidelines on abusive exclusionary conduct as well as new instruments of digital legislation (DMA, DSA, §19a GWB) are assessed.
