p, p’-DDE is the dominant pollutant among β-HCH, HeCB, END-1, dieldrin, OXC, c-HE and p, p’-DDT as the other major constituents. Principal component analysis exhibited a general simultaneously increase of them, with higher levels in placenta and milk samples in Denmark cohort than in Finland one. Linear correlations between paired Finland milk and placenta samples confirmed the fetus transplancental exposure. The linearly correlated END-1 and OXC in all samples likely reflects an exposure source correlation. Chiral information of c-HE and α-HCH suggest case specific differences of the recent uptake versus the stored historical residual levels for these compounds. Now, enantioselective enstrogenic activity/exposure can be considered in risk assessment.
