- IL1-ra weist erhöhte Serumkonzentrationen bei bakteriellen Gastroenteritiden im Kindesalter auf. Im Vergleich zu CRP ist IL1-ra jedoch nicht aussagekräftiger. - IL1-ra shows elevated serum concentrations in children with bacterial gastroenteritis. In comparison to CRP IL1-ra has less diagnostic value. IL1-ra is not useful to differentiate between gastroenterits and HUS, but it tends to show the course of disease in children with HUS.
