- The dissertation describes a process model for solving the complex cooperation problems in globally distributed product development projects. The process model is a procedure for designing globally distributed projects through all phases of the product development process. Beside the methodological process of problem solving based on the approaches of system theory the efficent and effective use of information technology is in the focus of the process modell.
