- Abstract:
- Local energy markets (LEMs) provide opportunities for consumers, prosumers and producers to exchange their electricity within their local community. This dissertation presents different analysis, evaluations, models, and bidding strategies for LEM based on blockchain technologies. A hybrid blockchain-based LEM model was developed that utilizes the features of a trusted execution environment to solve the challenges of proof-of-concept blockchain based LEM.
