- The dissertation investigated the development of variables linked to well-being and motivation in teacher education with a longitudinal design. A protective resource for stressful situations, social support, was considered. University students' emotional exhaustion, an indicator of well-being, varied over time. Motivational patterns, distinguishable at the end of the induction phase, got homogeneous for beginning teachers. There is no evidence that social support shapes well-being or motivation.

- Die Dissertation untersuchte die Veränderung von Wohlbefinden und Motivation in der Lehrerausbildung. Eine Ressource die Stress abpuffert ist soziale Unterstützung. Emotionale Erschöpfung der Studierenden, Indikator für das Wohlbefinden, veränderte sich im Laufe des Studiums. Am Ende des Vorbereitungsdienstes zeigen sich drei Motivationsprofile, die für beginnende Lehrkräfte homogen wurden. Es gibt keinen Hinweis darauf, dass sich soziale Unterstützung auf Wohlbefinden oder Motivation auswirkt.
