Education for Sustainability is of crucial importance nowadays and traditional educational settings need to adapt to the new challenges of the XXI century. Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung ist in heutiger Zeit von entscheidender Bedeutung und auch der traditionelle Unterricht muss sich dieser neuen Herausforderung des XXI. Jahrhunderts stellen. Die vorliegende Dissertation greift das Thema auf, wobei sie an der Schnittstelle zur MINT-Bildung angesiedelt ist. Sie umfasst einen Überblick über den internationalen Stand der Forschung und eigene empirische Untersuchungen, die im Süden Chiles durchgeführt wurden. Sie stellt einen Rahmen für die Umsetzung von Projekten zur MINT-Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung für Kinder im Alter von 4 bis 10 Jahren vor, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Bildung in einem indigenen Kontext liegt.    «
