Description:: Cloud datacenter to user connectivity dataset collected over RIPE Atlas. The dataset accompanies research article “Surrounded by the Cloud” accepted at The Web Conference 2021
Method of data assessment:: The dataset includes PING and Traceroute measurements from 8500+ RIPE ATLAS probes to 189 datacenters of ten major cloud providers, i.e. Google, Amazon EC2, Microsoft, Digital Ocean, Linode, Alibaba and Vultr, Amazon Lightsail, Oracle and IBM. The data collection lasted from September 2019 to October 2020.
