Title:
Ambient Integrated Robotics: Solutions for Cities
Abstract:
Future cities require throughout technological and demographic change novel concepts in the field of assisted mobili-ty, assisted working and assisted life and living – Ambient Integrated Robotics provide a variety of solutions. Over time, the ability of robot systems has grown stronger, so that they are now able to act in relatively un-structured envi-ronments in cooperation with human beings. This leads to the fact that robotic technology is no more limited to manu-facturing scenarios but is gradually introduced in a multitude of life areas. At the Chair of Building Realization and Robotics in an interdisciplinary team, solutions for the "robotization" of various areas of life are developed and veri-fied. In that context, a particular focus is laid on the complementary co-adjustment of processes, environments and robot systems following a Robot Oriented Design approach. «
