The data were generated within a series of experiments designed to investigate the influence of compaction and curing methods in the AFP process. For this purpose, mechanical tests were carried out on the universal testing machines of the Chair of Carbon Composites at the Technical University of Munich. The microCT scans to determine the void volume content were generated at the Australian National University.
Beschreibung:
This data set contains raw data on the basis of which paper "Influence of compaction and curing in the Automated Fiber Placement Process on the mechanical performance of composite laminates" was created. This includes, among other things, raw data from the mechanical characterization tests and images from the microCT scans.
