Abstract:
A case of symptomatic syringomyelia which appeared six years after Listeria meningoencephalitis is described. Chronic spinal arachnoiditis, as shown by standard MRI and dynamic phase contrast (PC) cine-MRI, may occur after spinal infection and is likely the cause of syringomyelia.
