Das LUVMI Konsortium wird koordiniert durch die Space Applications Services NV/SA und umfasst die Technische Universitaet Muenchen,
OHB System, Dynamic Imaging Analytics, DLR Institut für Optische Sensorsysteme und des Laser Zentrums Hannover. LUVMI is ein von der Europaeischen Kommission im Rahmen des EU-Foerder-programms Horizon 2020 fuer Forschung und Innovation.
ENGLISH VERSION: The LUVMI (Lunar Volatiles Mobile Instrumentation) rover is a small-scale lightweight vehicle for the mobile exploration of water and other volatiles on the lunar surface. The image shows the Volatiles Sampler on board of the LUVMI rover prototype, drilling into the soil to acquire a sample for analysis.
The LUVMI consortium is coordinated by the company Space Applications Services and comprises Technical University of Munich, OHB System, Dynamic Imaging Analytics, DLR Institute of Optical Sensor Systems, and Laser Zentrum Hannover. LUVMI is a project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 framework.
