Abstract:: Many undergraduate courses in computer science can be endorsed by visualizations of algorithms. However, current systems provide only a limited support for efficient creation of high quality visualizations. We analyze the requirements on such a system from different points of view and propose guidelines that would foster an easy creation of didactically and graphically sound visualizations.
