Neben einer theoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit strategischen Kooperationen, im Kontext einer Anwendung durch Wirtschaftsverbände, wird in der Arbeit mittels schriftlicher Umfrage untersucht, welche Rolle strategische Kooperationen in Wirtschaftsverbänden bereits heute und voraussichtlich in Zukunft spielen. Nach einer Identifikation wichtiger Erfolgsfaktoren von strategischen Kooperationen, wird ein Strukturmodell für das strategische Kooperationsmanagement von Wirtschaftsverbänden, unter Berücksichtigung verbandspezifischer Besonderheiten sowie der gewonnenen theoretischen und empirischen Erkenntnisse entwickelt. Das Modell soll der Führung von Wirtschaftsverbänden Hilfestellung leisten, indem es die Managementaufgaben strategischer Kooperationen in überschaubare Analyse- und Problemlösungsschritte unterteilt und dadurch zu einer Reduktion der kooperationstypischen Managementkomplexität beiträgt.     «

In addition to the theoretical examination of strategic cooperations applied by trade associations, this thesis analyses the status quo and the prospective role of strategic cooperations in trade associations by means of an empirical study. After the identification of important success factors in strategic cooperations, a structural model for strategic cooperations management in trade associations is developed, taking the specific particularities of trade associations into consideration as well as the theoretical and empirical findings of this study. This model shall support the management of trade associations in strategic cooperations by subdividing the management tasks into clear steps that lead to a reduction of the typical management complexity in strategic cooperations.     «
