In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein agentenbasiertes Agrarstrukturmodell entwickelt. Mit Hilfe des Modells wird die Wirkung von unterschiedlichen wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen auf die Landnutzung und den Strukturwandel auf der Ebene einer Gemeinde abgeschätzt. Eine wesentliche Neuerung stellt die Erweiterung des Entscheidungskalküls der Agenten um nicht monetäre Kriterien dar. Im Rahmen einer ersten Anwendung des Modellansatzes werden für eine Untersuchungsregion im bayerischen Alpenraum die möglichen Auswirkungen von mehreren Optionen zur Umsetzung der Agrarreform von 2003 auf die Landnutzung und auf den Strukturwandel ermittelt.      «

In this thesis the author develops an agent based land use model. The model is used to assess the impact of different business environments on land use and structural change at municipality level. An important innovation of the approach is the integration of non-monetary aspects into the agent's decision making rationale. In the second part of the thesis the model is applied in a study area in the Bavarian Alps. The model is used to assess the impact of various options for the implementation of the 2003 CAP reform on land use and structural change.      «
