Ziel dieser Arbeit war die Evaluierung des klinischen und radiologischen Resultats nach Rekonstruktion kombinierter M. supraspinatus- und M. subscapularis-Sehnen-Rupturen. Neben klinischen Tests wurde die funktionelle Kraft mittels einer Kraftmessplatte objektiviert und MR-tomographisch die Muskelflächen in standardisierten Schichten gemessen. Diese Ergebnisse wurden mit Kontrollgruppen sowie klinischen Parametern verglichen. Trotz Wiedererlangung der Schulterfunktion bleiben postoperativ relevante Struktur- und Kraftdefizite bestehen.     «

The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcome after reconstruction of combined supraspinatus-subscapularis tendon tears. The follow-up evaluation included clinical tests, rotator cuff strength testing with a force measurement plate and MR tomographic assessment of the muscle cross-sectional area. Finally, these data were analyzed with a matched control group. Repair of combined rotator cuff tears achieves good postoperative results despite a residual rotator cuff strength deficit and muscle atrophy.     «
