Mit einem kreuzförmigen Einzelbrennerprüfstand wurde einem radialen Drallbrenner eine transversale akustische Schnelleanregung aufgeprägt, die das Auftreten von Umfangsschwingungen in Ringbrennkammern moderner Gasturbinen abbildet. In Abhängigkeit von der transversalen Anregungsfrequenz und dem Massenstrom kommt es zur Ausbildung einer rotierenden Strömungsschwankung. Deren Charakterisierung sowie der qualitative und quantitative Einfluss auf die Flammendynamik sind Gegenstand diese Arbeit.

A cross-wise structured single burner test rig was used to expose a radial swirl burner to a transversal acoustic velocity excitation that reproduces the appearance of circumferential modes in modern gas turbines. Dependent on the transversal excitation frequency and the mass flow rate a rotating flow pulsation is developed. Its characterization and its qualitative and quantitative influence on the flame dynamics are subject of this thesis.
