In der vorliegenden Studie wurden die Gelenkfunktionen von diakapitulären Gelenkwalzenfrakturen innerhalb eines Patientenkollektivs nach osteosynthetischer Versorgung mittels Kleinfragmentschrauben untersucht. Hierbei lag die Zielsetzung in einem Vergleich der Funktionen der frakturierten und nicht frakturierten Gelenkseiten innerhalb des Kollektivs. Außerdem fand ein Vergleich mit den bereits vorhandenen Ergebnissen eines früheren ebenfalls osteosynthetisch versorgten Frakturkollektivs statt. Die Daten des Patientenkollektivs der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden kernspintomographisch, achsiographisch und klinisch nach derselben Methodik erhoben wie die des bereits nachuntersuchten Kollektivs. Der Vergleich von frakturierten und nicht frakturierten Gelenkseiten innerhalb des Kollektivs zeigte für den überwiegenden Teil der erhobenen Parameter funktionsstabile Ergebnisse. Verglichen mit den Daten aus dem früheren Patientenkollektiv, ergaben sich hingegen schlechtere funktionelle Ergebnisse.     «

In the present study, the function of diacapitular condylar head fractures after operative treatment with small fragment screws was examined within the patient collective. The aim was in the comparison of the function of fractured and non-fractured joints within the collective. Furthermore the results of the present study were compared to the existing results of a prior examination of an operative treated collective. The data of the present study were evaluated in nuclear spin tomographical, axiographical and clinical parameters using the same methods like the prior study. For most of the measured parameters, the comparison of fractured and non-fractured joints revealed stable results regarding the function. Though, compared to the outcomes of the prior study, the present study yielded worse results.     «
