Abstract:
Translated abstract:
The Dictyostelium discoideum cyclase associated protein (CAP) and its homologues of the higher and lower eukaryotic organisms are G-actin sequestering proteins. Our structural characterization of D. discoideum CAP was carried out using NMR spectroscopical methods, with the final aim to determine the three-dimensional structure of the amino-terminal core domain of CAP. The CAP-N structure consists of a bundle of six anti-parallels alpha-helices. A model of the full length of CAP was also proposed...     »
