Abstract:: Die retrospektive Krankenhausstudie zeigte bei älteren, dermatologischen Patienten eine Assoziation zwischen multiresistenten MSSA und Diabetes mellitus Typ II, Niereninsuffizienz, Ulcus cruris und Lebererkrankungen. Ulkus war für MRSA ein Risikofaktor. Erythromycin, Clindamycin, Ofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin zeigten die höchsten Resistenzen. Cephalosporine und Doxycylin sind gute Optionen. Der Gebrauch von Fusidinsäure und Mupirocin sollte wegen der steigenden Resistenzen eingeschränkt werden.
Translated abstract:: In our hospital-based retrospective study on elderly patients with skin disorders, the multiresistant MSSA was found to be associated with type II diabetes, renal insufficiency, leg ulcer and liver disease. Ulcer was also a significant risk factor for MRSA. Erythromycin, clindamycin, ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin showed the highest resistance rates. Cephalosporin and doxycycline remain as good choices. Topical use of fucidic acid and mupirocin should be monitored due to the increasing resistance. «
