Abstract:: The risk of failure of an Open Innovation project is reduced by developing a new selection proceeding for Open Innovation activities. Only factors such as budget, time and type of ideas have been taken into consideration by the classical proceedings used so far. The new proceeding focuses on employees directly involved in Open Innovation projects. The employees’ characteristics are identified and used to select the relevant Open Innovation activity.
