- Translated abstract:
- In order to cope with challenging market dynamics, manufacturing companies have to adapt their manufacturing systems frequently. One approach to adapt their production due to these changes is to use reconfigurable manufacturing systems (RMS). In the light of the above, a production planning system that continuously integrates and optimizes the characteristics of RMS has been developed and evaluated within a prototypical application.
