Abstract:
This paper presents theoretical analysis of non-synchronous vibration in rotor systems. A finite element method on the basis of the Timoshenko beam formulation implemented in the in-house code is applied as a standard tool to perform transient rotordynamic analysis using the Newmark algorithm for the direct numerical integration of the equations of motion.
