- The translation of spatial data on conceptual level usually involves different UML profiles and encoding rules. These issues have up to now not been dealt with in GI Science. The dissertation will contribute here by applying suitable approaches from Computer Science so that transformation can be carried out by taking into account different UML profiles and encoding rules.
