Title:
Laser mass spectrometry of compounds in exhaust emissions from Otto and Diesel engines adapted for use at motor test facilities
Abstract:
Laser mass spectrometry for the simultaneous detection of NOx, NH3 and other exhaust components (N2O, CO, O2, H2O, arom. compds.) is presented. Extensive measurements at Otto and Diesel engines before and behind catalytic converters, in the cylinder and in comparison with conventional methods have been performed at a test facility.
