- Abstract:
- The hierarchical structured exergetic analysis provides a detailed view on complex systems. By defining corresponding evaluation coefficients, the exergetic efficiency is calculated for all components within the plant and their influence on overall plant performance is pinpointed. Based on that analysis, the potential and limits for performance improvements of IGCC concepts are discussed.
