Abstract:
Mit dem „BBMRI Catalog“ wurde das erste pan-europäische Biobanken-Repository entwickelt, das die Basis für weitere Schritte zur Integration von Bioproben und assoziierten Informationen darstellt. Neben Fragen der Standardisierung und Harmonisierung von Daten und Metadaten stand die Konzeption und Umsetzung von Integrationsszenarien im Fokus. Das realisierte System verwaltet derzeit 345 registrierte Biobanken. Damit ist es die umfassendste Informationsquelle im Bereich Biobanking.

By developing the "BBMRI Catalog", the first pan-European repository of biobanks has been realized. It constitutes the foundation for further integration of biosamples and associated information.
