Terms of use

  1. mediaTUM is a service offered by the University Library of the Technische Universität München (TUM).
  2. Individual images may be used royality-free for print or digital publication (For commercial use the prior written consent of the copyright owner is required. Mail to: agrarsystemtechnik@wzw.tum.de or Phone: +49.8161.71-3440!).
  3. We grant our users a non-exclusive right of use (einfaches Nutzungsrecht). The right may not be shared with a third party.
  4. Systematic download and storage (in electronic or any other way) of significant parts of the database or the whole content ist strictly forbidden..
  5. In all cases of publication, the user is obliged to reference the source as follows: name of the collection, mediaTUM, TU München, name of the photographer (if specified).
    The reference must ensure that the source can be unequivocally identified.
  6. In case of print publication, a copy free and unsolicited specimen copy is required by the University Library of TUM.
  7. mediaTUM does not guarantee the currency, completeness or correctness of content.
  8. mediaTUM reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all  or part of any mediaTUM online content without notice.
  9. The user is solely responsible for the compliance with legal regulations (in paticular, copyright, trade marks, intellectual rights, personal rights). In case of any legal breach, the user is the sole responsible party and shall be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, exemplary od incidental damages that might be claimed by third parties.
  10. Under no circumsances shall mediaTUM be liable for damages arising from use or misuse of the content.
  11. Any legal claims or disputes arising in connection with the use of mediaTUM shal be subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
