Das anhaltend hohe Luftverkehrswachstums und der zunehmende Stellenwert des Umweltschutzes konfrontiert die Luftfahrtbranche immer häufiger mit dem Thema ‚Lokale Luftqualität‘. Am Flughafen, als Ort des Zusammentreffens von Airlines, Flugsicherung, Flughafenbetreiber und Hersteller, müssen die verschiedenen Emissionsquellen und die Anteile jedes Stakeholders identifiziert werden, um nachhaltige Reduktionsmaßnahmen ableiten zu können. Das vorgestellte methodische Vorgehen zeigt u.a., dass mithilfe der quellspezifischen Emissions- und Immissionsanteile und den Parameterelastizitäten gezielt Minderungsmaßnahmen ermittelt werden können. Zudem wird deutlich, dass jede Maßnahme ein flughafenspezifisches und örtlich differenziertes Wirkungsspektrum aufweist. Die entwickelte Simulationsumgebung ermöglicht allen Stakeholdern die Auswirkungen jeder operationellen, technologischen und infrastrukturellen Maßnahme auf die lokale Luftqualität bereits in der Planungsphase abzuschätzen.     «

Driven by continued strong growth in air traffic and the growing importance of environmental protection, the aviation sector is increasingly confronted with issues concerning local air quality. Airports are places of action for all air traffic stakeholders. Therefore all emission sources and their individual shares have to be determined to identify sustainable reduction measures. The herewith designed process shows that source parameter elasticity allows the depletion of systematic reduction measures. Further on it becomes apparent that each measure has an airport specific and local differentiated local effect of spectrum. The developed toolset allows all stakeholders to determine the environmental benefit of technological, operational or infrastructural measures prior to realization.     «
