Die Landschaft der forstlichen Zusammenschlüsse gestaltet sich zum Zeitpunkt des Waldpaktes 2004 als vielfältig. Sie reicht vom ideell geprägten und ehrenamtlich geführten Verein bis zum hauptamtlich organisierten Dienstleistungsunternehmen. Vor diesem Hintergrund stellt die vorliegende Arbeit in einer retrospektiven Betrachtung den Konstituierungs- und Entwicklungsprozess dieser sozialen Gebilde in den Mittelpunkt der Untersuchung. Hierzu wird anhand 32, mit Vertretern zentraler Akteurgruppen, geführter Interviews analysiert, welche exogenen und endogenen Umweltsituationen im Zusammenhang mit der Gründung und Entwicklung forstlicher Zusammenschlüsse wahrgenommen und welche Folgen damit erklärt werden können. Im Ergebnis wird der Wandel forstlicher Zusammenschlüsse an den sich ändernden, umweltbeeinflussten, Interessenkonstellationen der Mitglieder aufgezeigt.     «

The landscape of forestry associations at the time of the Waldpakt 2004 (Forestry Reform Act 2004 in Bavaria) could be described as very diverse. Reaching from vounteer based clubs idealistic in character to professionally run service organizations. Within this context the following dissertation will retrospectively examine the constitutional and developmental process of these social structures. By analyzing 32 interviews with representatives from central categories of actors, it is examined which exogenous and endogenous environmental factors can be identified in relation to the founding and development of forestry associations and which effects can be explained by these factors. In conclusion the transformation of forestry associations is demonstrated in the changing, environmentally influenced, participants interests.      «
