Im Rahmen dieser Dissertation wurden carbocyclische Drei- und Siebenringcarbene (2,3-Diarylcyclopropenylidene und Cycloheptatrienylidene) am Beispiel ihrer Palladiumkomplexe untersucht. Durch oxidative Addition reaktiver Ligandvorstufen an Palladium(0) wurden zweikernige, halogenverbrückte Komplexe synthetisiert, die mit N- und P-Donorliganden gespalten und so in einkernige Derivate überführt werden konnten. Für ein zweifach benzanneliertes Siebenringsystem wurde zudem die Diazoroute als komplementärer Zugang etabliert. Die Strukturaufklärung ergab signifikante Unterschiede in der σ-Donorstärke und π-Akzeptorfähigkeit beider Ligandsysteme. Die katalytische Aktivität der Komplexe wurde in der Suzuki-Miyaura-Reaktion und in der Hartwig-Buchwald-Aminierung evaluiert.     «

Three and seven-membered carbocyclic carbenes (2,3-diarylcyclopropenylidenes and cycloheptatrienylidenes) were investigated with their palladium complexes. Oxidative addition of reactive precursors to palladium(0) afforded halo-bridged dinuclear complexes which could be converted into their corresponding mononuclear derivatives by cleavage with N- and P-donor ligands. The diazo route as complementary access could be established for a dibenzannelated seven-membered ring system. Structural investigations revealed significant differences concerning the σ-donor/π-acceptor behaviour of both ligand systems. Investigations into the catalytic activity of the complexes for Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions as well as for Hartwig-Buchwald amination were accomplished.     «
