Abstract:
The effective field theory vNRQCD allows to describe among others the production of top-antitop pairs in electron-positron collisions at threshold. Potentially large logarithms of the relative velocity of the quarks are systematically summed up in this approach. For a precise prediction (NNLL) of the resonance cross section the renormalization of potentials (4-quark operators) at two-loop level is necessary. Contributions coming from ultrasoft gluon loops dominate and are calculated.

Mit der effektiven Feldtheorie vNRQCD lässt sich u.a. die Produktion von Top-Antitop-Paaren in Elektron-Positron-Kollisionen an der Schwelle beschreiben. Potentiell große Logarithmen der Relativgeschwindigkeit der Quarks werden dabei systematisch aufsummiert. Für eine präzise (NNLL) Vorhersage des Resonanz-Wirkungsquerschnitts ist die Renormierung von Potentialen (4-Quark-Operatoren) auf Zwei-Schleifen-Niveau nötig. Beiträge von ultrasoften Gluon-Schleifen dominieren und werden berechnet.
