Abstract:
The effective field theory vNRQCD allows to describe among others the production of top-antitop pairs in electron-positron collisions at threshold. Potentially large logarithms of the relative velocity of the quarks are systematically summed up in this approach. For a precise prediction (NNLL) of the resonance cross section the renormalization of potentials (4-quark operators) at two-loop level is necessary. Contributions coming from ultrasoft gluon loops dominate and are calculated.
